Travel

For those of you who are traveling from out-of-town, we are so grateful that you are making the trip to Florida for our wedding celebration.

The primary airport serving the Walt Disney World Resort is the Orlando International Airport (MCO). Other airports in the surrounding area include Orlando Herndon (ORL) and Orlando Sanford International (SFB).

Flights can be made with any online service or travel agent, but to quickly review flight options and make bookings we recommend the following sites:

magical-express-00-sqFor guests flying into MCO, complimentary transport is provided to your hotel via Disney’s Magical Express shuttle service if you are staying on-site at a Walt Disney World resort hotel. If staying your entire time on the resort you can also take a return shuttle back to the airport for your flight home. This service can be signed up for when hotel reservations are being made, additional details can be found here.

If you are not staying on-site at a Walt Disney World hotel and are not planning to rent a car there are several options. The first are SuperShuttle and Mears Shuttle Buses, which provide airport shuttle service to your particular hotel. Both services need to be reserved in advance and their cost depends on where you are going. Alternately, both Lyft and Uber operate in the Orlando area. If you are not familiar, both Lyft and Uber are like taxis that will come directly to your location and take you wherever you need to go. Both also offer $20 in free credit for signing up using the links above. The prices for rides taken through the apps are also significantly cheaper than using the standard Mears Taxis available in the Orlando area.
